Today we went to Lunenberg and Mahone Bay.  Both towns are very picturesque and on the waterfront on the Altlantic Ocean.  It was another warm day, with temperatures in the low 30's.  We had a lovely lunch on a deck on the ocean in Mahone Bay, and had scenic roadways going to and coming back from Mahone Bay.  Tony & Linda cooked us a lovely dinner again and we are winding down, getting ready for tomorrow's trip to Digby, famous for scallops and to Annapolis Royal.  Back in the mid 1700's Annapolis Royal was the colonial capital of Nova Scotia.  During the period of the French & British wars, which spilled over into North America, alot of the Acadians (1755 - 1778) were expelled from the area and Nova Scotia at that time.  For anyone that has travelled to Louisianna, the French speaking there are direct decendants of the Acadians that were expelled.  Both Digby and Annapolis Royal are on the Bay of Fundy which has the highest tides in the world.

  2. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time! Post a picture with both of you in full gear on your bike some time...

It's cloudy here this morning, kind of a nice break from the sun, and I'm getting ready for church. I'd send you the sermon but this box for comments isn't big enough...:)

    Keep safe and have fun!
